Main Objective: to gather fragmented knowledge regarding the status of LRP in the EU market, setting the scene for the development of a new RA scheme for LRP at EU level
Tasks:
Task 1.1. Establishment of the Stakeholders Forum (Task Leader: UTH, Deputy Leader: EQY)
Task 1.2: Development and distribution of questionnaires to national authorities in charge of PPPs approval (Task Leader: IBMA, Deputy Leader: INIA)

Risk assessment for Microbial pesticides and microbiome solutions
Leader: Austrian Institute of Technology – Günter Brader
Duration: M4-M48
Objective: to develop and provide a first validation of methods, protocols and guidance towards the development of an improved RA for microbial pesticides, including microbiome solutions
Tasks:
Task 2.1: Development of guidance for assessing the pathogenicity / infectivity of microbial pesticides to humans and mammals (UTH/WU-TOX)
Task 2.2: Ecotoxicological assessment of microbial pesticides (SYNGENTA/UFZ)
Task 2.3: Development of recommendations for assessing the risk associated with the production of microbial metabolites and dispersal of AMR traits (AIT/SYNGENTA)
Task 2.4: New RA for microbial pesticides – proof of concept (INIA/UTH)
Task 2.5: Development of guidance supporting the RA of new microbiome solutions, new microbials and new application approaches (AIT/UCL)

Objective: to generate a new robust and scientifically sound RA framework for plant extracts (including pure bioactive plant metabolites), semiochemicals and pheromones
Tasks:
Task 3.1: Hazard identification and characterization of plant extracts (MI/WI)
Task 3.2: Hazard identification and characterization of semiochemicals and pheromones (CBC/BIOBEST)
Task 3.3: Exposure assessment for plant extracts and semiochemicals like pheromones (AEIFORIA/IUNG)

Objective: to develop a novel RA approach which will address the particular needs of emerging ds-RNA pesticides
