Justus Wesseler is since 2014 full professor of the chair group AEP at WU. From 2011 to 2013 he was full professor for agriculture and food economics at Technische Universität München. He has extensive experience working in international environments including working experience in Brazil and Paraguay as well as in coordinating and participating in medium and large scale international projects. He is the coordinator of the EU funded EXIOPOL, FP7 PRICE , BioMonitor (monitoring the Bioeconomy project). He is the president elect of the International Consortium of Applied Bioeconomy Research (ICABR), co-editor of AgBioForum, board member of the Wageningen Graduate School of Social Sciences (WASS) and a member of the scientific advisory board of the Science Campus Plant-Based Bioeconomy Halle, Germany.
