RATION WEBINAR EVENT
On 7th of March 2025 a virtual event was organized through Zoom and this initiative aimed at presenting RATION in order to introduce key Iberian agricultural stakeholders to the RATION stakeholders’ forum, starting with Portuguese farmers’ associations.
Continue ReadingThe main findings and activities of RATION were presented in the ABIM 2024 Conference which was organized in Basel, Switzerland on the 21-23 October 2024. The researchers of RATION along with the member of the advisory board Dr S. Arpaia, an expert in the risk assessment of dsRNA, presented their work and had the chance to discuss with the audience the future work on the area of risk assessment of low risk pesticides. The RATION workshop was organized with the valuable help of IBMA and it was attended by over 100 people.
Continue ReadingThe coordinator Dr Dimitrios Karpouzas presented RATION to the members of the Hellenic Crop Protection Association in Athens on 12 May 2023. Dr Karpouzas had the chance to present the main goals of RATION and the tools that aims to develop to facilitate the more efficient reach of Low-Risk Pesticides in the EU market. The members of HCPA were particularly interested in microbial pesticides, botanicals and pheromones and their registration process at member-state level and discussed further the high specificity of ds-RNA pesticides and their perception by the EU regulatory system.
